Eliza Dushku as Echo

Echo is the star Active, or doll, in the Dollhouse's cast of imprint-able friends, lovers, assassins -- whatever the client calls for. The lasting effects of being imprinted with all of her previous engagements at once (at the hands of rogue ex-doll Alpha) are starting to reveal themselves. Echo is a special doll, but in the Dollhouse, special is dangerous.
The daughter of an Albanian-American administrator father and Danish-American professor mother, Eliza Dushku was raised with ambition in her blood. At the early age of 10, Dushku was discovered by casting agents for the lead role of "Alice" in the film "That Night."
Most recently, Dushku co-starred with Alan Rickman and Bill Pullman in "Bottle Shock," a drama about the birth of the Napa Valley wine country. In 1993, Dushku landed the role of "Pearl" alongside Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in "This Boy's Life." The following year, she starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in "True Lies," opposite Paul Reiser in "Bye Bye, Love" and alongside Halle Berry in "Race the Sun."
After high school, Dushku returned to acting with the role of "Faith Lehane" on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Though initially planned as a five-episode arc, the character became so popular that Dushku stayed on for the entire third season and returned for a two-part appearance the following season. The remainder of her original story arc was played out in the first season of the spin-off "Angel." Repentant and rededicated, "Faith" returned as a heroine in a number of later episodes of "Angel" and in the last five episodes of "Buffy."
Dushku resides in Los Angeles.
Tahmoh Penikett as Paul Ballard

Paul Ballard was the FBI agent formerly assigned to the dead-end case of the "Dollhouse." His pursuit of "Caroline," who he believed to be an unwilling captive of the Dollhouse, landed him right at its doorstep and out of a job with the FBI. After striking a deal with Adelle to let November out of her contract with the Dollhouse, he is now deeply ensnared in the organization he swore to bring down.
Before landing his role on the award-winning "Battlestar Galactica" as "Karl 'Helo' Agathon," Tahmoh Penikett starred in the final season of the critically acclaimed Canadian series "The Cold Squad." His performance on that series earned him a LEO Award nomination.
Penikett recently completed shooting the lead role in the miniseries "Riverworld." His other credits include "Trapped Ashes," "Trick 'r Treat" and "The Green Chain."
Born in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada, Penikett has strong ties to the Upper Tanana tribe, their traditions and their love of storytelling.
In his spare time he enjoys a variety of athletic pursuits, including Muay Thai kickboxing. Penikett divides his time between Vancouver, Canada and Los Angeles.
Olivia Williams as Adelle DeWitt

Adelle DeWitt is the highest authority at the Dollhouse, answering only to its parent company. Adelle is a company woman who prefers to keep the Dollhouse running like the business it is. She is also a passionate believer in the value of the service they provide; a service she is not above taking advantage of first hand.
Olivia Williams earned a degree in English at Cambridge University before studying drama at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company in both Stratford-upon-Avon and London.
Williams recently completed production on director Roman Polanski's "The Ghost" opposite Ewan McGregor and Pierce Brosnan as well as the biographical drama "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" with Andy Serkis.
A U.S. tour of "Richard III," which featured Sir Ian McKellen, brought Williams to the attention of Kevin Costner who handpicked her for his film "The Postman." Since making her film debut opposite Costner in 1997, Williams has starred in numerous Hollywood films including "The Sixth Sense" opposite Bruce Willis and "Rushmore" with Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman.
In 2002, Williams won Best Actress at the British Independent Film Awards for her role in "The Heart of Me." Four years later, Williams starred in the BBC docu-drama "Krakatoa: The Last Days" and returned to the stage for a starring role in "The Changeling" at the Barbican Theatre in London.
Most recently, Williams starred in the feature films "Flashbacks of a Fool" opposite Daniel Craig, "Broken Lines" with Paul Bettany and "An Education" with Emma Thompson and Alfred Molina. On television, Williams portrayed writer Jane Austen in the BBC production of "Miss Austen Regrets."
When not filming, Williams resides in London with her husband and their two daughters.
Harry Lennix as Boyd Langton

Boyd Langton was originally assigned as Echo's handler. His invaluable service to the Dollhouse led to his promotion as Head of Security once Mr. Dominic was uncovered as spy and sent to Attic. With his gruff attitude and unswerving loyalty, Boyd is the beat cop of the Dollhouse.

He has worked with accomplished actors and directors, including Spike Lee in "Get On The Bus," Robert Townsend in "The Five Heartbeats," Ben Kingsley in "Suspect Zero," Billy Bob Thornton in "Chrystal" and Anthony Hopkins in "The Human Stain." His other film credits include "Across The Universe," "Resurrecting The Champ," "Stomp The Yard," "Barbershop 2" and "Love and Basketball." Lennix's additional television credits include recurring roles on "ER" and "Diagnosis Murder."

Enver Gjokaj as Victor

Victor is one of the most versatile and therefore frequently engaged actives in the Dollhouse. He and Sierra share a connection that seems to run deeper than the technology of the brain wipes. Enver Gjokaj graduated with an M.F.A. in acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He recently completed production on the dramatic thriller "Stone" starring Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich.

Amy Acker as Claire Saunders
